In my trade, I've notices how different parts of the country have different terms for the same thing. I've always called it a die button, which is how it is referred to when ordering a replacement for a die. Here in the Pitts...they call it a Die Bushing. In Ohio, it's called a punch retainer, here it's called a punch block. In Ohio, it's called a die block...here, they call it a die chase.
It's taken me about 6 months just getting used to the language barrier.
