I know the history of progressism very well. Much less about conservatives. I have very little interest or involvement in politics. I am drawn to different means to encourage the changes I seek.

The word has a fairly straight-forward meaning. Women are not minorities. Cuban-Americans are but they are not called that because they do not vote democratic.
