Just drove the car to Tulsa and back - runs great on the highway, but it always has. Still have the warm start issue - car starts, but it chugs at idle for a few minutes and just won't go! Press on the gas and it chugs worse and if you don't let off the gas, it stalls. Once it gets past this - no problems!
Frustrating - I thought it was a fuel accumulator problem, but did not make any difference.
No, I haven't replaced the pressure regulator. I managed to fix the rubber hose by finding a rubber grommet to fit...but I had no fuel leaking through the pressure regulator diaphragm, so I don't think it's the problem
Fuel injectors leaking maybe? I really don't know...can someone provide a procedure for testing the injectors...I have a CIS-E fuel pressure gauge, but I can't figure out how to hook it up!
