Recently acquired a 95 e320 sedan with original Bose head unit. I am thinking about replacing it with either a JVC KD-R900 Bluetooth receiver or a Blaupunkt Toronto 410 BT Bluetooth receiver.

Question 1:

If I go with the JVC KD-R900, would I need to rewire the speaker wires? My car doesn't have the infamous center console fader switch, and it has 2 factory amps on the right rear tire wall. I'm hoping it'll be a straight install if I can find all the needed wires from the back of the bose unit.

Any thoughts and/ or diagrams are much appreciated.

Question 2:

Will it be a straight connection with the new Blaupunkt unit? I mean would the wire harness from the Bose unit fit perfect into the new Blaupunkt unit?
