Thanks for the info. There's also a place here locally that does U-joint work. Since the W202 joint is pressed-in (rather than held by C-clip) they said the U-joint will need to be replaced ($800)  . If the it can be repaired, they want $300 .
There are places online that sell rebuilt for $270 to $350. Much better  . Anyone ever try rebuilt from online?
