Follow the process in the manual.

Basically all of the side bits - brake band actuators need to come out - input selector shaft and modulating pressure linkage / Bowden cable part - vacuum dashpot, reverse light switches, kick down solenoid etc

Valve body needs to be removed

Tail cone off...

...and gear set out - I'm not sure how the 722.3 is put together so look through the manual to be sure.
