This may take a little bit of time, but map each gaming system's connections to your set, then head to your local RatShack and see if yours still has a decent compliment of A/V switches and related routing gear...

Then, set up a little switch-central, where the lil' buggers can punch buttons without risking a "tip-over" b/c they were climbing behind the set itself.

Now, if the local RatShack is manned by part-time monkey-typists, find a decent Radio/TV Shop in your Yellow Pages and give them a shot at supplying you a few switches for your project.

If you're getting no satisfaction there, then a local Sound/Lighting store might have what you need.

After that (or before anything else), your best bet could be some on-line places...B&H Photo in NY (I think) has an unbelievable stash of the wierdest stuff you could ever imagine needing...they've come up with some pretty wild stuff for some projects I've needed in the past that no one I knew of, locally, would have ever thought of.
