Can you feel anything when you push up? If your pushing eliminates the rattle, you have found the source of the problem. Now remains the task of eliminating the gremlin. You will need to detach that corner of the headliner on the sunroof and I think if you apply the same finger pressure in the same area, the problem will give itself away.
