This is about the infringement on business being FORCED to provide any item, such as item X. It just so happens that in this case, item X happens to be birth control pills.

What if item X were Bibles, not Larry, but Holy? The government should not be allowed to force ANYONE, a business or otherwise, to provide anything to another party.
