There is no "hot tank" for aluminum.

The only way to clean the inside is the slow and painful way of using brushes and solvent. Mineral spirits or similar will assist the job with sufficient time. They will dissolve the deposits slowly, but a brush is required to finish the job.

A brush with a wire handle that can be bent is preferred to access the interior via the EGR passage.
