Hey everyone,

A quick question. My buddy and I might be buying a car in NY state. However due to our work schedules we can only go up on a weekend.

It seems we can get a interstate temp tag from the NYS DMV but they only appear to be open during the week...

Anyone have any ideas on what we could do?

I've only bought one car out of state and we drove home on the PO's plates (with his consent) and then simply mailed them back to him. I dont know if that was legal or not but we didnt have any issues or anything. It was quite a number of years ago too.
