UPDATE:
Replaced the motor and no luck. Still the window wouldn't go up. I then touched the two wires that connect the window motor to the power of the car and the window went up. I reversed the wires and the window went down. However when I push the switch nothing happens and when I hold the key in the door in the lock position the window will not go up. All of the other windows work fine. Also, when the window is working while I have the wires switched, and I press and hold the window button, the window stops moving and freezes.
The switch is not corroded and I changed it with the passenger window switch and no difference. I also switched the relay around and no luck.
Does anyone have an idea of where the problem lies? Maybe something common on the w124?
