I have the same question, except relating to our 98 E320. This car has ABS/BAS/ASR. I have read in the maintenance manual for earlier cars that the ASR should be bled via the SP port. But there does not appear to be an SP port on the ABS/ASR module.

Can anyone lead me to the proper method of bleeding the brake system after removing the ABS pump and or the Master cylinder?

In past I have flushed the brakes using a pressure bleeder, but want to be sure that will work when I exchange the ABS pump module.
