I removed one in the Junk Yard off an old 240D. left the arm on, and just removed the drag link/tie rods, coupler etc... I found some old carpet to let it drop down onto after removing the 3 mounting bolts to keep it out of the dirt.

I didn`t know about the pitman only fitting on one way, so left it on.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
