So I'm replacing the motor mounts and have pulled the bottom 8 mm and the upper two 6 mm bolts from the mount. I have taken the top two bolts from the engine shock mount and it now is free. When I jack up the engine with a scissors jack the whole car still goes up. I'm jacking on the oil pan and have loosened the other side's 8mm bolt a bit. I'm baffled why the whole chassis is still raised. What am I forgetting?

Do I have to unbolt both sides- I thought I could do one side at a time...
