I tend to agree -- if I'm going to fly out of anywhere in NYC, LaGuardia is preferred, no matter how much people whinge about the place.
(a) it caters to a lot of impatient business travellers, so TSA keeps the line moving along well, and security isn't much stricter than pre-9/11.
(b) it's 15 min cab ride from my home
(c) you get an awesome view of NYC when taking off and flying west
Sorry, but Newark Bay is just no comparison.
