Tennessee uses salt in my area during winter.However temps get above freezing in the day time,and I wash off the salt as soon as possible.I also use a garden sprayer with one part gas to 3 parts dirty motor oil.I then undercoat car serveral times in the winter.I live in the country with gravel driveway so oil on it does not hurt it
