Another move possible??

I've had a company in Savannah, GA playing tag with me for about 2 months. They'll call or email, and I'll call or email them back.

Today, I was tag-teamed. I tried ignoring a cell phone call during my PT appointment, as well as an email. I got home, and 10 minutes later, the home phone rang. It was the company in GA wanting to talk with me. Since they had the plant manager as well as the VP of the company on hold for me, I decided to entertain them with an interview.

It seems that my very special skill-set in my trade is in great need within the company. The VP and plant manager are both guys that I've known for years, but didn't know they had moved down there and were working together. They both have spent the better part of 6 months, trying to track me down so that they could get me to move down there and exploit my skills...at a handsome cost to the company.

After an hour and a half, they have decided to do a little more thinking on what I want...I want them to buy my house, or sell it for me, put me up in a company owned house for a period of 6 months, help me locate a property management company to manage my rentals, and pay for the entire move, including professional packers for the household items.

Their hang up is handling my current home. I don't want it rented out, because it's got too many handcrafted details and scrollwork to allow a renter to destroy. I'd rather they buy it and sell it, or they handle the issues of finding a buyer for me...since I'll be too busy in GA getting set up in a new place, a new community, and a new job to deal with it.

We'll find out next week. My wife is excited about the fact that snow is, for the most part, non-existent there. She's also excited about moving close to the ocean.

I'm excited because the wages are damned near double what I currently make, and I wouldn't have to worry about packing the stuff up.

The kids don't know...nor will they until a decision is made on the matter. My daughter wants us to move back to Utah, because she liked the Rockies, and my son has stated that he'd rather we move to California, because of all the "hot girls" there.

While I'm not looking forward to another move, getting away from the cold weather would be nice for a change.
