I recently purchased an 82' 240d with a manual cc unit. The trim cups and the backing plate ,to which the three switches are attached, are cracked into pieces, the metal 'ears' on the fan switch are broken off and the fan knob is missing. I can fix the backing plate easy enough but the cups are destroyed. I did manage to find a new oem fan switch on ebay but I cant find the fan knob. Ideally I would like to find a complete manual climate control from a late w123. Thanks for the reply.
