Unless there is some sensitive technology involved, I don't really see the difference where we buy it from. If all things are equal, I'd buy American and I'd want the DOD or whatever govt agency to at least give them a chance. OTOH, if we cannot produce it as cheaply, I am against the "Buy American at all costs" philosophy.
