I have been using a card paid from a separate account and periodically reporting it lost or stolen. This was a path of least resistance approach, careless actually. The card gets processed by Paypal when I pay. I click a link that says I have no Paypal account.

I had a card at one time that let me generate one-use card numbers. Never used the feature, might be nice now.
