I've heard that the cans are bigger on the W116...

...to be honest with you this is when I could really do with access to the real EPC instead of struggling with the Russian one.

All I can go on is what's in the W123 FSM chapter 35-660.

Here there is mention of the amount of oil in each can for many models. I've made a screen shot to show what I'm talking about =>



It looks like some of the 126 models have a larger inside can 'cos there's more oil in it - but not all of them.
