thought I'll add here to help others, If you wish to buy SKF bearings for your 1995 E300D in a retail outlet, NAPA has them, ask them for a no.2 and no.17 set and for the grease seal ask for part no. atm2118445.

These dont come up when they look it up by car type. But they have them. I read out the sizes from the timken catalog.
