I just went to Lowes and purchased 40 sq. ft. of insulation fiberglas, 72 sq. ft. of aluminum foil, and 3 60ft. rolls of electrical tape and I have a bottle of Gorilla glue. I guess the noise that I am experiencing is really from the interior paneling. I'm not really looking into something as permanent as asphalt based or foam that is applied to the interior, just something as a buffer in between the hollow spaces. I plan on enclosing the fiberglas in between the foil and lining the interior of the car. Keep the suggestions coming, I will report back.
