AFAIK for some time, not sure why. I hope he's OK, my post was a small attempt to smoke him out or at least raise the topic of where he might be, anybody heard from him, etc.

Uh, say Holmes, go back and read this thread from the first page and take note of who posted the OP. I've done some hunting but not a lot. I milked cows at a commercial dairy in Davie, Florida (as opposed to milking goats I guess), I've done harvest work - combines of several types and picked fruit in three states - I've worked on homesteads of friends where I gathered eggs, etc. I used to shoot medium sized birds with the son of the one of the families I lived with, looked like pheasant, for dinner up in Ea. WA. But I haven't killed large game and eaten it.
Nonetheless, I'm fascinated by the prospect of hunting wild boar. Never done it but would like to.
