A good rear axle leak!

I had installed my cleaned fuel injectors and removed alda so I went the few miles out to a paved road to see what she would do. I thought the engine response was better so brought it home and parked it in the garage.

Later I went out to the shop and looked under the car to see oil dripping off of the rear axle pumpkin. Dang dang. I had a puddle 18" in diameter. I went to my computer file of the FSM and spent a lot of time looking at how to change a seal. I didn't have any internet capability where I was.

I jacked the car up some and looked carefully at it again. I have no sense of smell so I asked my wife to catch a drop on her finger and tell me what fluid it was..... Diesel.

I looked up and saw two rubber lines with one dripping. Whew.
