The console window switches are prone to failure.

There is a thread about this one in the ML forum.

I jinxed myself by reading the thread, since I had the driver's side switch go bad the next day.

The dealership said they would just replace the bad switch(s), but I insisted they do the whole set. So I would assume based on their offering that they could just replace the switches individually.
