cirrusman, no smoke is a good thing. It means your engine is happy, and has a lot of life left in it. Though I do enjoy the space that people tend to leave behind me.

When I drive my gasoline MB I never have tailgaters aside from the police. Maybe try driving faster
Either smoke will come back or you will pull away and problems are solved.
