Yeah the plastic knob just pills off, it is the nut in question. It doesn`t have a square side to put a wrench to. the sides slope.

KAdams4458 you have a good solution to the fix. I was thiinking of a wide slot screwriver to grind the same way, don`t think one is made that wide though. maybe a Wood Chisle could be ground flat and a slot ground in, then you would have a fancy handled tool that would be used once in a Blue Moon.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
