OK, Jay_Bob's white wagon was doing the squeek squeek dance, so he ordered up the parts for the ball joints, and the LCA bushings and we tore into it last night.
about 3mm play in the driver's ball joint, the bushings were shredded on the outside, but not bad otherwise, we pulled them anyway.
pressing them in is a pain, but a bit of experimenting and it was done.
WHY DOES MB WRAP THE ROTOR SHIELD AROUND THE BALL JOINT???
