Thanks. No, the ESP light is not on. I have to have it diagnosed soon to fix/clear the check engine light so it passes state inspection (overdue), any suggestions?

Is it common for a MB-specific auto mechanic not being able to find the code with two scanners and needs a third one (and more time) to diagnose it? I just want to put my money where it's rightfully due.
