If they use a corporate anti virus and that machine is on the domain, they can push the anti virus and updates to it. Once they do, Samantec will take over and disable your other antivirus, and you wont be able to uninstall it without going into the registry.

If she travels with this machine, she'll need to vpn on a regular bases in order to connect to the corporate antivirus server and do updates.
