The jaws I have are MB made. I figured it would have cracked, but the plastic is very tough and hard to bend. It was a lot of effort to twist it onto the pin.

If for some reason it breaks, I will just replace the whole unit. But it was a job I planned on doing quickly, until I found the peened pin.
