ok, I'm an idiot.

I pulled out my SNAP ON xzn sockets to pull the head off a parts car 602... I'm TRYING REALLY HARD to get a timing cover for a member that needs one...
anyway, I pull the cam bits out, pull the cam caps off, and set them aside, pick up the chunks of lifters... start pulling on the breaker bar pulling head bolts...

1-12 pulled off just fine... #13 and the 1/2" to 3/8" adapter I had on the breaker bar SNAPPED OFF INSIDE MY NICE NEW SOCKET!!!
so... I now need to drill and tap the adapter chunk to pull it out of my socket... fun.
