I use my mityvac in a standard 1 quart atf bottle to adjust precision levels of the trans fluid...
sure, a compressor is gonna be easier and faster, but the standard mityvac will do it.

Maybe I did something wrong, but my homemade extractor (heavy gasketed bucket, nylon lines, brass barbs) couldn't extract oil worth a darn. The vacuum source was gasser #2 idling to pull a vacuum. It would start to crush the bucket but the oil just creeeeeped out. I gave up after 20 minutes.
