When I did the rebuild on my OM602 19,353 miles ago the water pump was replaced with a Geba unit from thebenzbin.c0m. That pump is now making noise that sounds like a dry bearing
It could be that the Geba is just a bad unit but but I don't want to replace the next pump in 20,000 miles. Looking on Pelican Parts there are 5 options - 3 brands all rated excellent (Saleri, Graf and Laso) - 1 rated good (Meyle) and the genuine MB unit rated best. Thankfully there are no Uro units
