i just got a 94 cab with 80k for 3200. needs an alternator, a front drivers seat and top cylinders... that will set me back 800/// if it needs a head gasket...so be it... i can deal with the 1800 cost when needed.....
alternator is on order... found seats from a forum member.. and i will pull the cylinders and have them re-done... \\
once i get it running the way i want.. i will change all fluids... i don't think you can go wrong if you get it for the right price and are willing to do some work on your own.
cost prohibitive if you can't
