Hard to tell by your description if the spheres are bad or not. When they went out on my 190 I thought my fillings would be bounced out. If you bounce your rear end and it does not bounce or bounce much good chance they are toast.

As others said, it's a pretty easy job to do. Make sure you use MBA fluid if you do it your self.
