Picture it in Manila Beige with original taillights and North American headlights, and that's what my car looks like (OK, there's a crack on the dashboard). Back when I bought my 300D I thought it drove quite nicely in the city. Then I took it on the interstate and found it to be even better there. The w123 is just an enormously comfortable long-distance vehicle.

Where will other cars be in thirty years? I've thought that many times about other people's cars, particularly when they drive/pass me like idiots. "Yeah, hurry and floor it on your way to the junkyard, fool. Just don't take me with you."
