I thought I had seen the same part # for both before, but cannot duplicate my results now, so I am concluding they don't.

Probably too short, though unlike trying to go the other way, I bet you could get the axle in, but it would probably be over extended. Somewhere I have a comparison length pic ill post. Its all about the wider body seems like. The center shaft is just longer. Without another axle to compare it to, its identical appearing
Homokinetic vs annular shouldn't matter. I've had one of each on a 300D a while back. How the axles mount to the hub and diff is identical between the two types, just one can be disassembled
