Flex discs going on

I'm just replacing the nuts on the bolts for the flex discs

I've got two OK looking front flex discs and one OK back one - no new parts this time re-re-re-cycle

But those buggers are going back on with copper ease

Removal of the old vibration damper fitted to propshafts with manual gearboxes is simple - tap with hammer and punch

Old one is still OK looking

Part number 201 411 30 47

The propshafts I have however are a bit problematic =>

The four speed front section isn't going to be used - it is too long with a five speed gearbox fitted.

The five speed front end that I bought looks sort of OK but both the rear sections of both propshafts have slightly notchy universal joints

I think I might be fitting the second hand section that came with the 5 speed propshaft I bought for the conversion just to see if everything else is working - such as the 5 speed gearbox and differential after the rebuild work I've done.

I guess I'll have to take it off soon to fix the UJ notchiness - I'll practice on the old four speed section that came off the car though.
