I've had the seats out and wiring harness out of the door sills and traced the wires but cant find a short. The codes are u0032 and u0033 which is communication interference L&R side airbags {electro-magnetic interference}.
There is an aftermarket radio which used to share the same fuse as the SRS. I thought that might be the problem so I changed the ignition power source from that fuse to the cigarette lighter, which is on a different fuse.
I've tried everything I know to trace the problem. It is intermittent which makes it worse. I can get everything reset and put in a new fuse only to have it happen again in a few days.
Last resort would be the dealer but that would cost more than the car is worth!
