as a matter of preference:

makes sense to tune with MB parts or reputable MB tuner parts/program

that aside- don't see a need to mess with MB trans/shifter OE engineering (never had one fail or appear sub-par)

....higher performance is required?- perhaps its time to step up to a totally engineered higher performing balanced vehicle platform (imho)
