If you cannot or do not perform your own work, then based upon the above, get another car brand your locals CAN work on.

IF you do your own work, find out the root cause of the fuel pump issue. Fuel pumps are not a typical problem area. They do weaken with age, but they rarely have problems. They work or they don't.

Are you replacing the pumps? New or used?

Same symptom or different problems?

Whatever the problems you have now, what you propse is an order of magnitude more troublesome.
