I have a Mercedes 300D 1976 Chassis W123. The tumblers in the ignition do not come out the same way as a 300D 77-92. No pin hole. No button on the side to use when in accessory. What am I missing? Plenty of info on the 77-92. Not much for this one.

Everything besides the tumbler I think is the same as a 77. Any guidance would in removing the tumblers would be very much appreciated. I have the key.

Edit-There is a ring besides the plastic cap that has the mercedes part number for the tumblers on it. I have a feeling this must be removed to get to the release holes. But I cant for the life of me figure out how.
