Yeah, but that really doesn't help much. I have access to a 108 that I can try it in, but the issue is all of the 108s that I have seen have a center console that screws in rather than clips in. This is designed to slide back into a latch and then down into two holes...

Is the part number on the tag clearly printed? Could one of the numbers be different? (i.e. you're reading '9' and it's actually an '8'). Are there any extra numbers that could be throwing off the actual part number?
Post a pic of the tag!

The 4 digits that appear afterwards are a color code. I'm not including that and for that matter, this part number doesn't have a color code. I suspect it's the part number for the pan and pad and not for the actual cover itself.
The tag and number is faded but clear. And unfortunately I've already reassembled the cushion and it was rather difficult to remove the cover the first time. Actually didn't remove it completely, only the lip of the front and side edges so that I could pry up the pad from the metal pan enough to see the tag.
What I have found in EPC is a glaring error. You can search for a part number without reference to a specific model. However it will sometimes return nothing if that part number is in an option set other than 01. For example, group 91 is front seats, and some of the cushions that I have identified don't appear in the EPC search. If however I open up a W111 sedan and go to section 91 and chose one of the subgroups such as "leather seat adapter for cars with column shift" then sometimes THAT screen will display in the parts list the part I am trying to find. But if I search for that part number it won't find it.
Also if I have a specific vehicle selected and I search by name "seat adapter" it will return values that I can't find another way. And if I click on one of those it will take me to the applicable location, which is sometimes in one of the odd subgroups.
So "search" in EPC doesn't search all of EPC. It only searches most of EPC by part number. And "search" but description "seat adapter" returns things that I can't find easily any other way, but I haven't it on the right vehicle combination for this item yet.
Another example - the door interior arm rest in a Pagoda - 1139701501 - if you search for this in EPC you get nothing. However if you go to look for cars 113.044 and look at door panels and then choose the subgroup for optional leather trim you _will_ find this part number. Odd.
