I see you have two threads running side by side.
It sounds like you are not planning to remove the head. Whilst you might be able to drag a piston out through the bottom of the engine you will have a miserable time trying to fit it again. Pistons should be removed and replaced via the top of the engine. Remove the head and save yourself a lot of trouble.
Furthermore - assuming the bore diameters of the cylinders are still in specification - if you replace the rings without honing the cylinder walls you stand a good chance of having poor compression and high oil usage.
When you remove the caps of the connecting rods make sure the sharp corners of the connecting rods do not scratch the journals of the crankshaft during removal or refitting.
