I believe the extra socket is used if you have the BOSE system in the truck, sorry I can't be more specific.
The extra wiring is used for Navigation system and cell phone setups. The one single wire is for the nav antenna (I believe it is a square green connector and heavier looking black cable),
and the antenna wires i would have to look at, but they are connected to the wires that come off of the linear compensator, which is part of the phone kit. I would need to study the wiring diagram more closely, but i believe one actually goes to the roof antenna, and the other goes underneath the passengers seat, where in the US the Teleaid control module would be located.
You may find an abundance of extra wiring if MB includes the wiring for Teleaid (which is standard in the US) but doesn't actually install the system in your truck.
