The shafts are indeed very different between turbo and non turbo. There were also changes within the non turbo herd. Make sure you get the correct part - if necessary you might have to get all the correct parts.

I know the dealer is considered to be expensive but for these types of parts they are often just as cheap as anyone else and sometimes the only realistic option - you do also have the added security that the part will be correct.
