I have visited about 3 rebuilders who dont actually renew the joints but more fill and grind them and repair with old cages from cores. Not my liking.

What brand does your rebuilder use?

In another country I used to live the regular way I redid CV axles was new joint, good/best quality/correct type of grease, a line of glue on boot ends and good crimp on the bands.

The jobs lasted a very long time, I want to do a similar type of work here but its seeming pretty hard.
